2 Year Anniversary – Looking Back

As of today it has been 2 years since we opened our first server! We thought we’d take this opportunity to take a look back at what has changed since our first server.

When we first opened on April 1st, 2013 we were a small Factions server with only a few people. With features like hidden secrets throughout the spawn area and more this server was our first try and a great learning experience about how Minecraft Servers work.

After our Factions server we eventually moved on to our Pixelmon server. Which was pretty popular for a while with several players that you still see around now such as QSShocK & Pliiop this is where we first met a lot of our players. Our Pixelmon server was AuroraCraft v2. Including our first hub server where we ran multiple gamemodes including Pixelmon and many others like we do today.

We took a break after our Pixelmon server for a little while due to some other things that were going on, but once SethBling & CubeHamster released their Missile Wars map we couldn’t resist opening up a little server for that which brought us in to v3.0. We ran several events on that server during it’s time being around.

Most recently we’ve opened our version v4.0 server which has led us now to our v4.2 server. In v4.0 we started our Multi-world, multi-gamemode server. In v4.1 we moved this to much more reliable, faster, and stronger hosting using better software. With the most recent version we made a couple minor changes to improve what we had before bringing us to where we are now.

So here’s where we’ve started and where we’ve reached. We hope to keep moving from here and keep bringing more game modes, more players, and more entertainment for all of you!

If you have any suggestions for what you want to see in the next version please drop us a suggestion on our forums!
